Customer Reviews
Sarah Jenkins
“I purchased the 6-pack of flameless taper candles in ivory for my daughter’s wedding rehearsal dinner because the historical venue strictly prohibited open flames. I was honestly blown away by the authentic paraffin wax texture; nobody at the table even realized they were battery-operated until I pointed out the remote! The 3D animated wick flickers so naturally, and having the 4-hour timer meant I could just set them and enjoy the evening without worrying about dripping wax ruining the expensive linens.”
Marcus Vance
“Our living room lanterns finally look complete thanks to the glass pillar candle set, which brings a beautiful modern vibe to our fireplace mantel. The moving flame mechanism throws off a warm, cozy light that perfectly mimics a real wick, and my favorite part is the dimming option on the remote control that lets me adjust the mood for movie nights. They have been running every single evening for three weeks now on the same set of AA batteries, which is a massive upgrade over the cheap plastic versions we used to buy.”

“I always decorate our front windows for the holidays, so I bought the seasonal window tapers with the suction cups, and they completely transformed our home’s curb appeal last Christmas. The suction cups held perfectly against the cold glass all winter long, and the automated daily timer worked flawlessly, turning them on exactly at 5:00 PM and shutting them off after 6 hours so I never had to go around the house switching them off manually. I even bought the blood-dripping black wax version for our upcoming Halloween party because the detail on the wax looks incredibly realistic.”
GenSwin FAQ
Are GenSwin candles made of real wax?
Yes, most GenSwin taper and pillar candle models are coated in authentic paraffin wax. This gives them a genuine matte texture and light-translucency that makes them indistinguishable from traditional candles when lit. Because they use real wax, they should be kept indoors and away from direct heat sources to prevent melting.
Can I use these candles outdoors?
It is highly recommended to use GenSwin candles indoors only. The authentic paraffin wax coating can melt if exposed to direct hot sunlight or high temperatures, and the internal battery compartments and electronic components are not waterproof or weather-resistant.
How do I program the automatic daily timer?
To activate the timer, first switch the physical power button at the bottom of the candle to the “ON” position. Then, point the included 10-key remote control at the candles and press your preferred time duration button (2H, 4H, 6H, or 8H). The candles will blink once to confirm the command, stay lit for that number of hours, shut off automatically, and then turn back on at the exact same time the following day.
Why do all my candles flicker at the exact same time?
When you use the remote control to turn on a cluster of GenSwin candles simultaneously, they receive the infrared signal at the same millisecond, causing their internal computer chips to sync up their flickering patterns. If you want a more natural, organic look where each candle flickers independently, simply use the manual power switch at the base of each candle to turn them on one by one a few seconds apart.
What should I do if the remote control stops working or the lights look dim?
First, ensure that the clear plastic battery saver tab has been completely pulled out from the bottom of the remote control. If the candles are unresponsive or the light output begins to look weak or faint, it is usually a sign that the AAA or AA batteries inside the candle bases are exhausted and need to be fully replaced. Avoid mixing old and new batteries, or combining alkaline and rechargeable batteries together.
